We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Helga and Marco gave us a very warm welcome and we felt immediately at home. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped, and we're happy to give it our highest recommendation.

The place is perfect, and the owner very helpful. Also the town isn't a tourist destination but very authentic. In general great place for lovers of nature and hiking.

Appartement refait à neuf, dans le petit village de Fiumendisini que je recommande vraiment . L’emplacement est juste parfait. Dans les montagnes et à même pas 15 minutes de la mer. La plage de galet est incroyable avec la vue sur la Calabre. On adore cette partie de la Sicile qui est authentique. La pizzeria du village est à tester absolument si elle est ouverte ! Marco est très disponible pour vous aidez si vous avez besoin de quelque chose. Ce que j’aurais à redire sur cet appartement c’est qu’il manque un peu d’insonorité et de lumière du jour. Malgré cela je le recommande à 100%.

Helga and Marco have created a little paradise vacation home, in the most charming little mountain village. It’s a short drive down the winding mountain road to the seaside town of Nizza, and an easy trip to Taormina. The house itself has everything, beautiful handmade details, decorated in good taste, well equipped and perfectly clean. The arancini Marco recommended were the best we had in all of Sicily. The best part of all was their hospitality- right from the start with Marco meeting us with a parking spot in the central piazza, Helga jumping to action when we needed to bring our baby to the doctor, I cannot recommend this place enough. I was between this place and some beachfront properties, and I am so happy I took the chance on little Fiumedinisi and Casa Santoro. Also super strong WiFi and air conditioning!!!

Le personnel était adorable, nous avons été très bien accueilli. L’appartement est grand, avec cuisine, salon et salle de bain privative. Le village est calme, il n’y a pas grand chose à y faire, pas vraiment de supermarché et très peu de restaurant mais le cadre est joli (réserve naturelle) et la mer n’est pas loin. Pour nous c’était une halte au calme très appréciée, loin des touristes.

Een heel huis voor jezelf, alles helemaal nieuw ! Alles is aanwezig! Eigen keuken, fijne Airco Marco de gastheer, is super attent. Geeft graag tips, hij heeft voor ons ook n geweldige excursie naar de Etna geregeld. Het is n oud dorp, dat nieuw leven wordt ingeblazen. Leuk klein restaurant la Rotonda 😃

Muito boa a estadia, pessoas simpaticas.

Gazda primitoare, apartamentul are toate utilitățile. Gazda foarte comunicativă, explică tot ce ai nevoie. Un loc bun în Sicilia pentru cazare. Recomand tuturor turiștilor acest loc de cazare, bucătărie și baie utilate cu toate cele necesare.

Marco fue muy amable con nosotros. La casa tenía todo lo necesario y estaba impecable, sin duda recomendable! Además está en un pueblo con encanto en el que te sentirás bien acogido.

Marco a été adorable, logement avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Le seul léger inconvénient est l'insonorisation des bruits venant de l'extérieur (rue calme tout de même) et celui de la porte d'entrée lorsque l'on sort. Tout le reste était parfait !

האירוח הכי שווה שהייתי בו בחיי . מארקו בעל הבית מארח נהדר , הכל כפי שבתמונות , נקי מצוחצח הכל. נמצא בכפר איטלקי אותנטי (נהדר למי שרוצה לחוות חוויה לא תיירותית ויותר מקומית איטלקית) נמצא בכפר שוקק חיים ומלא פעילויות בערבים . שפע של מסעדות ומקומות עם אוכל מקומי. בקיצור אם אתם אוהבים מקום כפרי בהרים לנוח בשקט בשלווה ובמחיר מעולה זה המקום .

Appartamentino su due piani, pulito, dotato di ogni comfort, ben climatizzato, arredato con cura e gusto. Bagno ampio con grande doccia. Gestori molto gentili. Posizione ottima a 100 metri dalla piazzetta centrale di Fiumedinisi, paesino tranquillissimo a metà tra i boschi ed il mare splendido di Nizza di Sicilia (a meno di 15 minuti). Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente. Sicuramente consigliato.

I recently had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb in Sicily, and let me tell you, it was absolute perfection! Situated in a beautiful and friendly town, the location couldn't have been more ideal. With Espresso coffee, pizza, gelato, and so much more just steps away, my taste buds were in heaven! The house itself was a dream - well-equipped with everything I needed and immaculately clean. Every corner exuded comfort and coziness, making me feel right at home from the moment I stepped in. And the best part? The stunning scenic view that greeted me just 10 minutes away at the beach. The beauty of the surroundings was truly awe-inspiring! Overall, my experience in Sicily was nothing short of impeccable, thanks to this fantastic Airbnb. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a perfect getaway filled with charm, convenience, and breathtaking views. Trust me, you won't want to leave!

Una estada fantàstica. En Marco i l'Helga han estat molt atents i amables. L'allotjament estava impecable i tenia tot allò necessari. El poble és tranquil i s'hi pot comprar allò imprescindible, i és perfecte per visitar punts d'interès com Taormina.

Dziękujemy za wspaniały pobyt, oprowadzenie Marco i pyszne ciasteczka. W mieszkaniu było bardzo, bardzo czysto i było doskonale wyposażone. Warto zajrzeć w ta okolice, bo czuc włoski klimat miasteczka, w szczególności w pobliskim barze.

It was the best Italian Airbnb (about 20) I've been to so far. To be honest, it was much better than a luxury hotel. Even though we were on a honeymoon, we were really satisfied with the atmosphere of the neighborhood where this ancient feeling was still alive, and the interior of the house was completely modernly clean. On the first floor, the bathroom was really clean and the water came out well. The second floor is well organized with a table for a meal, and it's the strongest in the house, so you can dry the laundry. The best part was that the owner of the house, Marco, was so kind. Marco helped us address any questions or difficulties we had throughout our stay. It was really nice to go up to the hinterland and see the entire coastline and even the Etna volcano (Best of my trip to Italy on the 15th). If you come to this place, I highly recommend going to that hike. We got lost going up the mountain, and Marco drove us directly to the hill. It's a crazy experience. I was happy because of Marco and I would like to invite Marco to Korea.

A lovely cozy apartment in a pretty town. Welcoming host, who gave excellent recommendations for dining. We ate the best Arancini and Granita based on his suggestions. Car was easily parked in the Main Street. Prepare to travel light as there is a short walk to the apartment and the whole village is built up hill, a lovely bit of Sicily. We would have liked to stayed longer. Hope to return one day soon.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Helga und Marco! Eine wundervolle Unterkunft und eine sehr schöne Umgebung.

Bellissimo appartamento adatto per una famiglia di 4 persone, meno di un minuto dal centro storico, proprietario gentile e premuroso. Torneremo di sicuro.

Die Atmosphäre im Dorf war familiär. Unser Gastgeber Marco hat für uns organisiert, dass der Minimarkt öffnet, der sonst unmarkiert war und zuhatte, und uns ein tolles Restaurant empfohlen, der auch auf Google und auf der Straße unmarkiert war. Wir haben den Kaffee auf der Terrasse genossen sowie das Kirchenfest.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in einer schönen Wohnung mit viel Ausstattung. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben uns ausführlich alles erklärt sowie uns mit Informationen über alles Mögliche versorgt. Sogar mit dem Gepäck wurde uns geholfen. Alles in allem hatten wir eine gute Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Helga and her son could not have been more helpful. They have created a home away from home for guests. It’s a somewhat isolated location but a genuine experience of a Sicilian community.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war alles sauber und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Absolute Empfehlung hier auch länger als eine Nacht zu bleiben. Fiumedinisi liegt wunderschön in den Bergen und trotzdem nicht weit zum Strand.

Nice spacious appartement in the middle of old medieval italian village. Truly authentic experience as there are otherwise very few (if any) tourists when we visited (March). Marco was very nice, gave great giving tips for hikes and shared some interesting stories about the village and the people. Can only recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Fiumedenisi, cute little town in the Sicilian mountains. Marco waited for us in the rain to arrive and help find parking. The house itself was clean, private and quiet, the bed comfortable, and the place had all amenities we needed for an excellent stay. Recommended!

Our stay in the apartment was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the central location in the village, from where we could do lots of hikes. Helga and Marco (the hosts) are very kind and helpful people. We could call them whenever we had a question, and they were always kind and understanding. When we checked in, everything was explained properly. We also could leave our bicycles in the garage. The hosts even invited us for a new year’s celebration and gave us really nice Sicilian food. The apartment itself is clean, pretty and has a lot of space and equipment. The village is old and lies in a valley between beautiful mountains. The people who live here are incredibly openhearted. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to people who love nature, tradition and good food.

Wonderful stay with Helga. Unfortunately, our night was marred by horrible weather and a power outage, but Helga and Marco were proactive and helpful. The place has a great ambience and was very clean. Would definitely recommend!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Helgas Appartement. Eine schöne Wohnung mit großem Bad und voll ausgestatteter Küche. Blitzblank und sauber. Marco hat uns erwartet und sehr nett begrüßt. Er half uns freundlicherweise mit unserem Gepäck. Kleine leckere Aufmerksamkeiten begrüßten uns. Alles war sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Der Ort ist klein, aber wunderschön gelegen. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort auf unserer Rückfahrt von Sicilia nach Bari, aber er könnte ein lohnenswerter Ausgangspunkt für herrliche Wanderungen sein. Man hatte das Gefühl, in einem authentischen kleinen Städtchen zu sein, was sehr selten geworden ist. Ich kann diese schöne Wohnung in herrlicher Lage nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ho trascorso un bellissimo weekend a Fiumenedisi in occasione della sagra "Capricci d'Autunno". L'host, Marco, a cui mando un ringraziamento, è stato molto gentile. L'appartamento, situato a due passi dalla piazza principale, è molto pulito, curato ed economico. Nonostante la colazione non fosse inclusa nella tariffa, Marco ci ha lasciato la colazione pronta con caffè, fette biscottate, marmellate e paste di mandorla. Non vedo l'ora di tornare presto a Fiumedinisi.

Nous avons été accueilli par Marco qui a été très patient car nous avons eu du retard dû à des bouchons. Il nous a même "réservé" une place de parking sur la place du village. Le logement était grand, propre et très bien agencé. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si nous revenons dans l'est de la Sicile.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Marco empfangen, er hat uns das sehr schöne kleine Dorf gezeigt und in der Wohnung alles Wichtige erklärt. Wir haben sehr ruhig geschlafen und die Zeit in der sizilianischen Umgebung ohne viel Tourismus genossen. Ein herzlicher Dank geht an Helga und Marco.

Onze host marco is zeer vriendelijk en heeft ons goed ontvangen. De ruimte was zoals omschreven, erg netjes en schoon. Echter… houdt er rekening mee dat dit dorp verder in het achterland ligt. Dit dorp is alleen te bereiken door een lange kronkelende weg langs de bergen welke niet verlicht is. Dit komt in geen enkele recensie terug. Als je savonds in het donker terug gaat naar je air bnb is dit niet prettig. Daarnaast is de air bnb gelegen midden in een dorpje. Ondanks dat je echt ervaart hoe het is om in een Siciliaans dorpje te verblijven, hoor je goed de omgeving/ buren. Dit zijn wel zaken om rekening mee te houden. Daar kunnen Helga en Marco natuurlijk niet veel aan doen, maar ik had dat van te voren wel willen weten.

Marco was brilliant; he was very responsive and waited up till midnight as our flight was delayed. The house was up a small street 50m from the main square, which usually has some free parking. There is a bedroom and new bathroom downstairs. The bed is large and comfortable with air-conditioning and ample storage space. Upstairs there is a smallish kitchen with most of the things you might need (although note the oven was not usable in Sept as it was unplugged and the plug didn’t reach the socket. The living room/dining room has a small balcony that looks down the street towards the square. The internet was very fast (60 mb/s) and there was no issue two of us doing video calls at the same time. The ‘dedicated work space’ is just a very small desk in the corner of the living room but the dining table is large enough for two to work from The village of Fiumedinisi is a quaint little hill town, 15 minutes form the coast with an attractive square, two cafes & two restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The apartment was impeccably clean and had an authentic Sicilian charm that made the experience truly special. It's a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture and ambiance. Highly recommended!

If you’re after an authentic experience in a medieval Sicilian village then this place is perfect. Great pizza restaurant less than 100m away, and highly recommend the restaurant Aloha Mare which was INCREDIBLE! Helga and Marco were extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay again for sure! The host is very friendly. I felt I could talk with him as I would to a friend. He welcomed me to the town community and made me feel like home. I cannot stress how good this place is. I wish I would have not come alone and stayed for more than one night so I could have enjoyed my stay more. Marco gave me a ride from and to the train station too. The location is perfect if you want to go for both quick and long hikes but be aware that the paths are only specified a couple of times and the maps are not totally accurate so you might need to ask around in the town to find your way but it shouldn't be too hard. I received a small breakfast that was not even included in the visit.

Siamo stati ospiti nella struttura di Marco e la mamma Helga due persone molto gentili e disponibili. Le camere dove abbiamo alloggiato ben rifinite e pulite, bagno spazioso e doccia ben funzionale. Abbiamo seguito alcuni consigli utili che ci ha proposto Marco per visitare il posto ed arrivare nella zona parco naturale, tutto molto interessante. Per la prima colazione c’è un bar in piazza dove abbiamo gustato delle granite ottime accompagnate da squisite briosce. Ci ritornerei sicuramente per visitare la zona della Sicilia in cui siamo stati ed anche per il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Bellissima casetta, tutti i confort a disposizione. Consigliata!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar, ich habe auf meiner Durchreise nur für eine Nacht übernachtet und mich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus, besonders geeignet für Familien, kann bis zu 4 Gäste beherbergen und befindet sich im Ortskern, nahe der malerischen Piazza Matrice und der Kathedrale. Es ist blitzsauber, perfekt ausgestattet und verfügt über alle beschriebenen und erwarteten Komfort. Das Badezimmer ist edel und extrem gepflegt, die Küche enthält alles, was im Alltag und zuhause gebraucht wird, das Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer bieten einen wunderschönen Blick auf eine authentische, typische, schmale sizilianische Gasse. Wer die echte und einheimische Atmosphäre Siziliens erleben möchte, muss meiner Meinung nach diese Ortschaft, die unter anderem nur 10 Minuten vom Strand und wenige Km von Taormina entfernt ist, besuchen. Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen am Hauptplatz oder auf der Strasse zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeber Helga und Marco sind außergewöhnliche Menschen: ich kann kaum in Worte fassen, wie herzlich, hilfsbereit, gastfreundlich und proaktiv sie waren, obwohl ich nur eine Nacht gebucht hatte. Eine eindeutige, klare Empfehlung und ein Auf Wiedersehen!

Helga & Marco are welcoming and friendly hosts. Marco waited for us and helped us to find a parking spot. We only stayed for one night, but we wished we stayed longer. The bathroom is brandnew and there are a lot of small details we appreciate, like the typical sicilian goodies.

Helga y su hijo Marco eran encantadores. Nos dieron muchas recomendaciones, y el piso impecable. Estaban siempre atentos y facilitaban todo. Cuidaron cada detalle, nos dejaron hasta agua en la nevera. Hasta estaba todo muy bonito decorado. Genial, ojalá quedarnos más.

Locația este situată într-o regiune muntoasă, unde am ajuns cu transportul interurban de la Messina, pe un drum de poveste. Cazarea este în centrul istoric, apartamentul este nou renovat, amenajat cu multă atenție pentru toate detaliile, dotată cu utilități, consumabile, gustări de toate felurile. Este de menționat și wifi ul foarte bun. Am fost plăcuți surprinși de buna primire, de interacțiunile cu gazda noastră. Mii de mulțumiri lui Marco, fiul lui Helga, care ne-a asigurat transportul gratuit la stația de tren din Ali Terme. Putem spune că a fost cel mai bun Airbnb pe parcursul intinerariului nostru. Oricând am reveni cu plăcere aici.

Ce logement est une véritable pépite et ses hôtes sont extrêmement charmants. Nous voyageons en sac à dos et Helga et Marco ont proposé de venir nous chercher à la gare, ils sont adorables. Une très belle présentation de l'appartement et des lieux nous a été faite par Marco qui parle très bien anglais ce qui facilite le dialogue. Le logement est superbe, tout est dans le détail (les assiettes sont magnifiques). Le village est très mignon et les alentours sont magnifiques. Nous avons fait une rando vers le château, la vue y est magique. Les restaurants voisins sont excellents on y mange très bien! Je vous recommande à 100% ce logement et l'expérience de cet adorable village sicilien!

Excellent small and cosy duplex house in an typical Italian hill village. Clean, friendly, well furnished, decorated, with all the actual needs (wifi/smart-tv, washing machine, etc...) which give this smooth a delicious feeling of "being at home". Lovely kitchen and magnificent bathroom, spacious living and primary bedroom. Helga and her son Marco are welcoming and heart full persons that made us feels VIP guests. They gave us lots of information of the surroundings, tips on good locations; were really proactive and listened/answered to our queries. A real delight... and so... a bit heartbreak when the time was due to leave.....

Incredible value. A super cozy and comfortable place to spend a few days to even a few months. Has everything that you need to live like a local. We went there to relax but also work and the dedicated working space was a great addition. The town is also very peaceful and cute and it was really nice to walk alongside the river. Helga and Marco were really kind and perfect for communication. The apartment is in a wonderful place, very close to the picturesque square Piazza Matrice with beautiful church. It is very well equipped, the bathroom is just perfect with and modern, kitchen includes all you need and living room with a nice view to the authentic Sicilian narrow street. If you want to feel real atmosphere you have to go there and enjoy walking all the city of Fiumedinisi, which is located in the valley with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Marco was very nice and gave us perfect tips to go for a meal or drink as well. I would recommend this stay to everybody who wants to feel very local and peaceful Italian atmosphere surrounded by a nature :)

Die Lage ist Klasse. Marco war sehr hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar und hat fehlendes sofort ersetzt. Helga war sehr freundlich. Im Februar braucht's eine bessere Heizmöglichkeit, es war immer mal wieder zu kalt und feucht. Die Bar L'Angolo am Platz ist Klasse und das Dorf sehr schön und urtümlich.

Great apartment in an interesting and authentic little Sicilian town. The apartment is centrally location and was everything the listing said. The space was clean, tastefully appointed and great value. The hosts Helga and Marco are most help.

Siamo stati presso l'alloggio di Helga e Marco per il mese di novembre e ci siamo trovati benissimo, loro sono stati gentilissimi con noi, ci hanno dato una mano ad integrarci nel villaggio e dato tante informazioni e consigli utili, sempre disponibili per qualsiasi necessità in ogni occasione. La casa è molto carina e si trova al centro del paese di Fiumedinisi, è presente un'ampia cucina, il bagno, la lavatrice, l'area soggiorno ha una Smart TV, ottima connessione internet, l'ideale per visitare la Sicilia autoctona stando tra gli abitanti di un piccolo villaggio.

Precisi, puntuali ed a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa. Ci tornerò.
