The Nisi Ring Trail is a multi-day trekking route that follows the principles of slow, responsible, and sustainable tourism. This gentle and eco-friendly itinerary can be travelled alone or with companions, aiming to fully appreciate the landscape and the hospitality that characterize this area.
The trail passes through the Valleys of the Alì and Fiumedinisi Streams, connecting four municipalities in the Ionian area of the Messina Province: Alì Terme, Alì, Fiumedinisi, and Nizza di Sicilia. Ancient communication routes, together with stretches of state and provincial roads, create a path that offers three alternative choices in the second stage, allowing hikers the freedom to select according to their abilities, needs, or interests.

Versatility
The trail, along with its variants, can be tackled on foot, by MTB, or on horseback, with attention to the gradients and lengths of various sections. While a well-trained hiker could complete the entire route in one day, the three-stage structure is designed to facilitate a slower and more immersive experience.
It is recommended to dedicate the first part of the day to hiking and the second part to exploring the villages, where visitors can explore monuments, savour local delicacies, and stay overnight, making the experience even more immersive.
